Award Winning Producer Anthony Anderson to Executive Produce DCTV’s new Talk Show The Comfort Zone
WASHINGTON, DC (May 2, 2011) - The award-winning soap opera series, Anacostia may be on hiatus but the work doesn’t stop for Anthony Anderson, the award-winning actor, producer, and writer. Anderson, under his production company, Southeast Boy Productions, has just announced that he will be Executive Producing a new talk show for DCTV titled
The Comfort Zone. When asked about his latest project, Anderson had this to say "I am incredibly pleased to bring this show to television, it is unlike any Talk Show on television today. The topics discussed are topics that will evoke debate and are relatable to everyone".
The Comfort Zone is slated to premiere summer 2011 on DCTV Cable Station, Comcast 95, Verizon Fios 10&11, and RCN 10 to a household viewership of over 300,000 homes. The Comfort Zone (formerly known as Guys At Brunch to their YouTube followers) will be hosted by Shawn Bradley, Nicholas Garnett and Brandon Boone. Topics slated for the first season include: “I’m A Porn Star” with Special Guest Tre Xavier, Polyamorous Relationships, Coming out Of the Closet and Spirituality vs. Sexuality.

About The Hosts:
Shawn Bradley – Born and raised in Louisiana, his no nonsense attitude coupled with his southern charm makes for one compelling individual. He is currently a contributing columnist for Baltimore’s leading LGBT newspaper The Baltimore Outloud titled “Hearts and Minds”. He is also a budding comedian. Nicholas Garnett – A native of Baltimore Maryland, Nicholas is an idealistic activist on issues of equality in addition to being an outspoken advocate for Gay Rights. Nicholas is also a student whose focus of study is towards Psychology and Sociology. While Nicholas may hotly debate Shawn and Brandon on points and issues, its all part of Nicholas, Shawn, and Brandon's subversive mission to re-educate society about how to argue in a civilized manner.
Brandon Boone - Born and raised in New York City. Brandon, also known as the man in the middle is the ground to Shawn’s and Nicholas’s often heated and jaw dropping debates. Brandon is usually the voice of calm. Brandon is the safe harbor in the war of words and opinions that will drive The Comfort Zone.
